The rent-to-own basics
Fast, affordable, personalised
Find your perfect home and we’ll buy it! Rent it for a term ranging between three and five years, with the legal right to purchase at the end. We’ll give you a discount equal to 20% of your monthly payments made over the term when you decide to buy it. If the property value grows, you’ll receive a further discount, and all discounts count towards the deposit you need to qualify for a mortgage.

If you’re between 22 and 35 years old, with a steady income but finding it hard to save for a large down payment, Homely might be your solution. We specialize in helping hard-working individuals who can afford monthly rent but struggle with the high upfront costs of buying a home.
When you pay your rent with Homely, you’re also investing in your future. A fifth of your rent goes toward lowering your final purchase price. Even better, you’ll also benefit from 20% of any increase in your home’s value over time.
The process is quick and easy. Simply apply, upload the necessary information, and you could be pre-approved within 48 hours. You’ll then be ready to register your interest in a property as soon as all documents are received.
Absolutely. Whether you have your heart set on a brand-new build or a pre-loved property, we’ve got you covered. We’ll purchase the home you choose outright. All you need to do is pay a small upfront fee (2.5%), sign a 5-year lease, and a purchase option agreement.
We aim to make homeownership more affordable. At the end of your lease, the cost of your home will be its market value, minus your accrued rent discount and a share of any increase in property value. Our goal is for these benefits to reduce the purchase price by up to 10% compared to the market value.
